B Corp
We have been a Certified B Corporation since 2019, joining a global movement working to benefit people and the planet. Our business practices are certified on environmental, social and governance standards. We strive to be transparent and accountable, and adapt our practices to reflect evolving social and environmental issues - aligning with consumer demands and values.
In order to maintain B Corp certification, companies must report their impact assessment every three years, to verify their status and report their score.
In 2025, Chiesi was recertified as a B Corp, with a B-Impact assessment score of 117 out of 200, an increase of 13.7 points compared to our second certification in 2022. We have achieved an improvement in our score at every reassessment since we were first certified in 2019.

"WeACT - We Actively Care Tomorrow" is a term coined by Chiesi in 2018 to drive an extensive programme designed to raise awareness and involve all employees in developing more conscious behaviours to have a positive impact on society and the environment.

We live in a time of great change. Our planet is exploited beyond its limits and its equilibriums are in continuous transformation. The most fragile and vulnerable are paying the price: those who are often left behind in this rush forward. We are changing the way we live and think about our society.
At Chiesi, we have always believed that it is necessary to take care of our planet and the people who inhabit it, rediscovering the value of mutual solidarity, as we are aware that every individual, as well as every living organism, is unique and irreplaceable.
We want to act as a force for good promoting a conscious and different way of doing business which strives to achieve a positive impact on society and nature by handling resources in a circular way and creating a new harmony and sustainability.
The well-being of all depends on this balance. For us, this is the only true form of progress.
Our contribution to the sustainable development goals
Our approach is based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) promoted by the United Nations.
Chiesi is committed to playing its part in advancing the UN SDGs. While we recognise that the 17 SDGs are all equally important, we have determined that our contribution can be highest for nine of them:
